Approach

Jewish Community Center of Staten Island (JCC) is providing young adults, including those who are attending part- or full-time college, high school, a non-degree program, or not attending any institution, with a clear path from education to immediate sponsorship for union membership in construction. JCC is offering a multi-week technical training program in partnership with TMS Waterfront which will prepare participants for immediate work in construction (street and roadways) and for longer-term career opportunities in wind energy.
