We launched Cause Strategy Partners (CSP) with its first funding, enabling it to build strategic partnerships with corporations in an effort to strengthen non-profit boards by offering earlier-career professionals an on-ramp to connect with board service. Its BoardLead program allows companies to offer employees and potential employees opportunities for non-profit work. Over 25 corporations have since signed on and numerous foundations have added to CSP’s funding base. Those elected to serve as board members receive training through a unique 12-month CSP course and are supported to help troubleshoot early challenges that develop in their tenure as board members.
